Enos Bible Reading Club
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
Enos is a small, ad-free Bible reading app built to help a community read Scripture together over a year. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how you can control it. It applies to the website at enosversion.com and to the Enos mobile app.
Information we collect
Account information
When you sign up, we collect your email address and password (handled securely by our authentication provider, Supabase, so we never see or store your raw password). This is used to create your account, sign you in, and send you reading reminders if you opt in.
Reading activity
We record which chapters you've read, your streaks, badges, and reading-plan progress. This is used only to show your progress back to you and to power the community reading plan. It is not shared with advertisers or sold to anyone.
AI Bible Q&A
If you use the in-app AI chat to ask questions about a passage, your question and the relevant chapter text are sent to our AI provider (currently NVIDIA's NIM API) to generate a response. This feature is available to signed-in users only, and chat messages are not used to train any model beyond what the provider does for abuse prevention.
Push notifications
If you enable reading reminders, we store a push subscription token (or your email, for email reminders) tied to your account, and your chosen reminder time and time zone. You can disable this at any time in Settings.
Device and usage data
Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and reliability purposes, in line with their own privacy policy. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use your information
We use your information only to operate and improve Enos: authenticating you, tracking and displaying your reading progress, sending reminders you've opted into, answering your Bible questions through the AI chat, and keeping the service secure and reliable. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Third-party services
Enos relies on a small number of service providers to operate:
- Supabase: authentication and database hosting.
- Vercel: website and app hosting.
- NVIDIA NIM API: powers the optional AI Bible Q&A feature.
- YouVersion / Bible Brain:source for additional Bible translations and, where available, audio Bible playback.
Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver their part of the service, under their own privacy and security practices.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account and reading data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us at alabioluwatobi2018@gmail.com. We'll process deletion requests within 30 days.
Children's privacy
Enos is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email.
